See what KaliCart Global actually observed from outside your store. KaliCart Bridge separates a reachable catalog from a robots.txt restriction, an anti-bot challenge or a missing response, without pretending that technical access guarantees placement on an AI platform.
What this solves
Your store can work perfectly in a browser while an automated catalog client receives something else. A CDN or web application firewall may return a challenge before WordPress runs; robots.txt may disallow the route; or the Bridge endpoint may answer normally. Looking only at the storefront cannot distinguish those cases.
An outside observation, not a self-test
The Federated Catalog panel displays the latest probe recorded by KaliCart Global against the public Bridge discovery route. The observation comes from outside your hosting environment, which is the vantage point an external agent depends on.
States kept separate

What the panel tells you
- the result of the most recent external observation;
- when that observation was made, with a warning after seven days;
- whether the cause was an anti-bot challenge or robots.txt when measured;
- what the observation means for the store’s current Federated Catalog status.
What it does not do
- It does not trigger a new live scan when you open the panel.
- It does not bypass, solve or weaken a firewall challenge.
- It does not tell you to create blanket allow rules for bots.
- It does not guarantee indexing, ranking, traffic or sales on any AI platform.
Permission is not reachability
robots.txt is a policy signal for compliant crawlers. It cannot force a CDN to deliver the requested JSON. Bridge therefore reports permission and observed delivery as different facts. Read the field measurement in robots.txt says yes. Your firewall can still say no.
Privacy and control
Nothing is sent merely because the plugin is installed. The public store URL is sent to KaliCart Global only after an administrator activates the optional Federated Catalog, revokes it or requests its visibility status. The check reads public catalog surfaces; it does not send customer, order, payment or WordPress credential data.
